It's like I said before, it isn't anything like your pokemon. It's a part of me. Goemon does nothing without my intent, says nothing that I do not truly feel. We feel pain, and pleasure, and everything else together.

The Persona is the true self. There are parts of Akira that he does not easily show. You saw it, with Arsene.

Therefore, no. We are not separate minds, he is me and I am him. We can communicate, but it is like talking to yourself. Sometimes, he forces me to confront things that I know deep down are true, I just don't want to acknowledge them. Multiple voices of the same heart and mind.

I'm sorry, it might seem a little abstract, to people who don't have one.

I kinda get what you mean, I think so it's like how when you're thinking about things to yourself sometimes a voice comes up and argues with your own logic?

[He has to word it a little carefully, but boy does he ever know the internal struggle. But then, his 'little voice' never tended to be ...helpful.]

Kind of like that. It's more distinct and demanding than any of my internal monologue before I awakened to this power. But it is not always arguing. Sometimes he helps me to see situations from another angle, or find the beauty in something I'd dismissed.

Our home is full of myths and legends, many of which this world has in common. They are enduring because they are universal. People believe or identify with some part of it, and keep it alive. Goemon is only one such story.

well this sort of thing is a little beyond me but I'd like to see what sort of being he is, I guess
